Buying rules

Clear rules before the PO hits the mill.

These purchasing rules apply to industrial paper and paperboard orders placed with PrintersDom through printersdom.pro or our sales desk. They exist so quotes, confirmations, and deliveries stay aligned with how commercial plants actually buy substrate.

1. Who may purchase

We sell to registered businesses for commercial use. First orders may require basic company details, shipping account information, and credit setup before large shipments leave a hub or mill.

2. What a complete quote needs

Provide grade family or current mill brand, sheet or roll size, basis weight or caliper, estimated monthly volume, delivery city, and press or converting constraints. Incomplete briefs receive clarifying questions rather than guessed pricing.

3. Minimums and units

Orders are quoted in skids, rolls, or agreed converting units. Retail cut-ream quantities are outside our standard offer. Program minimums vary by grade family and will be stated on the quote.

4. Quote validity

Standard-grade quotes are typically valid for fourteen days unless mill pricing or freight markets move materially. Mill-direct specialty quotes may carry shorter windows and will be labeled as such.

5. Order confirmation

A purchase order alone does not ship product. Goods move after written confirmation of price, quantity, ship-to, requested date, and any converting instructions. Changes after confirmation may adjust lead time or cost.

6. Spec locks

Once a grade, size, and finish are locked for a program, substitutions require buyer approval except where a documented force-majeure mill change occurs — in which case we notify you before shipment.

7. Payment terms

Approved accounts may receive net terms subject to credit review. New accounts often begin prepaid or with shortened terms until a payment history is established.

8. Cancellations

Stocked items may be cancellable before pick if work has not started. Mill-direct and converted lots that have entered production cannot be cancelled without absorbing committed cost.
